Snow, skis, and Kansas skies

Last month we had a crazy 3 inches of snow come unexpectedly one morning. And YES, 3 inches is crazy for Portland. The whole city virtually shut down for 2 days and people were sliding off the road everywhere. It was pretty comical...just watch this video from a local news station.


I bought myself a new set of skis recently. Aren't they lovely?

These were taken in my sister's backyard the second day I was back in KC. Beautiful!
