Walk along Macadam Avenue and Bay
Yesterday Sammie and I took a walk over the Sellwood Bridge, which is our street, to Macadam Avenue and down to the Macadam Pier. It started raining on us only a few minutes into the walk, but it was enjoyable!

The view from our street on the bridge.

Some cool dried up flower cones- I have no idea what they are...

Macadam Bay is mostly colorful house boats and is open to the public during day light hours.

In this photo you can see the Sellwood Bridge in the background. We are on the left hand side of it, about 9 blocks up the street.

Orchids grow wild in Portland. I've only seen a few varieties, but it was still surprising to see them.

Sammie and I, soaked after our walk.

Haha, mom looked at these yesterday. I'm not sure why that's funny. But it is.
Sammie is so cute! You live in such a beautiful place. And wild orchids?
