The Springwater Corridor and Esplanade

This morning I took a bike ride on the Springwater Corridor and Esplanade, a bike/walking path that follows the Willamette River into the city. It was beautiful- great views and about 60 degrees. I started on the Springwater Corridor just a few blocks from our house where the Sellwood Riverfront Park and Sellwood Bridge are. The first photo is of the Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge, which is a wetland area with some beautiful flowers and grasses. From there I went north into the city all the way to the Hawthorne Bridge and then decided to make my way back. All in all, a good 5 or 6 mile bike trip. If you're curious about the trails, visit their website.

Hope you enjoy the photos!
