Living room.


The point of this picture is to show you the success of my first try at reupholstering chairs. They turned out pretty nicely!

Excuse the paint- I was in the middle of painting the kitchen white. You can see the original orange color just a little bit on the kitchen ceiling from one of the living room photos. Imagine that...everywhere. It was awful.

Jason insisted on displaying the Jayhawks flier from the best basketball game we've ever seen, versus Oklahoma on February 5, 2006.

This is the guest bedroom, the bed of which Sammie is quite taken with. Our computer is in the same room, so whenever we're online, he hangs out on the bed. I originally hated the color scheme of this room, and planned on painting it, but after painting the whole master bedroom and kitchen, I decided to just leave it. And it's even kind of grown on me. But I will be painting the shelf arms white, because I can't stand them as they are.

Kind of looks like a creepy old ladie's house here, doesn't it?

Notice the hanging fern! I'm so excited about them, and the fact that we can leave them out there year round.

This is the doggie door I built for Sammie, because there's no back door out of the house leading to the yard. Before I extended the fence and built this contraption, you had to walk around the side of the house to the gate, and it was a pain in the ass. So I put up some chain link fencing from there to the porch, and built the doggie door and a ramp so we can just let him out the front door, and he's on his way.
